Introduction


Activism is a word, which has a lot of associations, but the Seed uses it to describe it when people simply become active over an issue, and that's simply what we're all about. The Seed is active on the issue of exploring and reaffirming human worth independent of any exterior motivations, a natural extension of this we feel is combating people trafficking and prostitution where we live.

In the following sections you'll be able to gain access to some food for thought on what it could mean to become active in different ways on the issue. In reality though the only limit is your creativity, and even if you are limited in that respect that’s fine (!). We have examples of things you could do to get involved as a member of the Seed Network in the following pages too.

Community


At the root of the Seed Network is the idea of community and conversation. It's important to come together and talk about issues frankly and openly. What we're trying to encourage is all about getting community engaged on an issue, coming together as a result and defining community and the way we relate to those around us.

The Seed Network is a group of people who believe that we're all worth something regardless of what we do, what we say or who we are for a living. We believe this and in understanding it we find ourselves inspired to move and talk to people about it with a passion. When we don't have the words, or the words aren't enough we'll pick up something which helps communicate this is in different ways. We think that’s amazing, something beautiful and is so important.
